Andrea Albrecht is the founding President of EMDH. She is a qualified early childhood educator and special education professional, with extensive experience working with young children in Hungary and Germany. At EMDH, she provides overall leadership and contributes to initiatives supporting children, families and the Hungarian community across Europe.
Get to know me better
She holds qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Special Education and Education for Children with Learning Disabilities, along with additional training in psychology, including working with traumatised and challenging children. Since 2016, she has worked as a pedagogical specialist in Germany, building on many years of earlier experience in early childhood and special education in Hungary.
Xavier Richert

Xavier is responsible for EMDH's financial stewardship, including budgeting and financial planning. His background in mathematics teaching and data analysis brings structure, clarity, and a strong pedagogical approach to EMDH's work. Together with the Secretary General, he plays a central role in EMDH's practical and administrative operations in France.

Xavier holds a Master's degree in Mathematics Education. He went on to complete the MITx MicroMasters program in Data Science and has several years of professional experience in data analysis. Additional training in cybersecurity further strengthens his expertise in responsible data handling, digital processes and information security. As Treasurer, he also coordinates accounting and oversees the association's financial obligations.
Dr. Jánosházi Ágnes

Ágnes is a biophysicist with two PhDs, in biophysics and neurobiology. She has worked in the United States, France and Hungary, including eight years at Harvard University, and has spent more than a decade mentoring young women researchers. She leads EMDH's operational and mentoring initiatives connecting Hungarian communities across Europe.
Get to know me better
Ágnes began her academic career at ELTE and BME in Hungary and later worked in research at CNRS in France and the NIH in the United States, using advanced imaging and quantitative image analysis. She also taught at university level in France for several years. At EMDH, she develops professional networks, mentoring initiatives and cross-generational knowledge-sharing.
